Despite not having a reservation and needing to catch a train within two hours, we were initially told there would be at least an hour wait. However, we were offered the option to sit on the terrace and enjoy some appetizers. To our delight, shortly after we sat down, a manager kindly offered us a table on a stunning patio, which was a wonderful surprise. The restaurant was bustling, especially on such a beautiful day, with its picturesque location by a small lake/pond where locals were swimming. The setting added to the overall charm and ambiance. We ordered the pasta bolognese and a sharable meat platter, both of which were out of this world. The flavors were exquisite and perfectly prepared. Additionally, the Moscow mule was one of the best we’ve had in Switzerland. The aesthetic appeal of Les Iles, both inside and outside, is truly stunning. The atmosphere is stylish and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. The combination of exceptional food quality and excellent service by the manager has placed this restaurant in our top 3 dining experiences in Switzerland.
